Studio Roma is founded by Rama Dhiman nee Roma Rani Biswas a garment designer, creatively and passionately engaged in this field over 36 years, having an eye for details and expertise in pattern making and clothing construction . Successfully blended into the exports and retail business. Later with the experience acquired into training and teaching as a give back to the society. Passion for the subject was such that every school summer holidays smoked and embroidered frocks were made and sold to help the creativity going .The amazing journey continued with creation of clothes for family, then friends and their families for occasions especially weddings . • Working with exporters and buying houses was something of interest post the fashion design diploma at SDP Delhi. Our teachers having trained at FIT New York to start NIFT there after. The journey includes designing for Madhura coats magazine with emphasis on hand embroidery. • Selling from high-end boutiques such • as Rugs & Riches and confetti Also created the entire range of inventory for m/s Fab India limited and creating a range of ready to wear line sold from Safina Plaza ,which was a creative endeavour. • The support of family and friends through life gave me an opportunity to create Indian and western formals for them along with the retail stores and • online stores too. • Vision being to give back to society by making entrepreneurs out of young women.
